Why is golf Las Vegas Style so different from other golfing destinations? Why does just the name Las Vegas induce dreams of exotic and mind boggling excitement? How does golfing in Vegas have so much more to offer than other golf courses and golf resorts? Please read on and draw your own conclusions about golf in "Sin City".
As you may know New Yorkers claim the "Big Apple" never sleeps. Let me tell you right off the bat that I think they may have been misinformed. I believe the New Yorkers which claim this have never visited the true capital of cities that never sleep. In my own personal opinion there is only one real city that can really claim and prove they deserve the title of "Never Sleeps" (drumroll please) LAS VEGAS. Did you know you can actually play golf at night?
That is absolutely correct. Several of the finer golf courses in Vegas have installed lighting so their golfers can play at night to avoid the scorching daytime temperatures that often reach 110 plus degrees during the summer months. Now we are not just talking about a practice driving range or putting range we are talking about how you can play a round of golf.

Speaking of practice driving range or putting range many of the golf courses which have these facilities go all out. There is only one golf club, however in my humble opinion, which is the "King and Queen" rolled into one (another drumroll please) the Desert Pines Golf Club. Not only does it have a wonderful 18 hole course, for all golfers with different skill levels, but an astonishing practice center.
No other golf Las Vegas style, public or private course, in Vegas or in the immediate vicinity can boast of a twenty thousand square foot, two levels, fully temperature controlled practice center. In addition it features 5 greens which are modeled after some of the USA's top par three seventeenth holes. Most golfers will believe that a club like this would be private and have restricted access to playing it. Not so! This is a public course located approximately ten minutes from downtown Vegas and about another five minutes from the infamous "Strip".
Obviously Vegas has more than one club, how about 60 plus public courses and over 20 private courses. Every one of these courses are actually on the strip or located within a short drive, of the all the entertainment you could want when not playing golf. This entertainment is not only for the adults but much of it as been created for the golfer’s family.
Golf Las Vegas style is a golfers dream round of golf and one of the most exciting family vactions you could hope for in my not so humble opinion.
